What is RealMeteo
RealMeteo is a Windows software that allows to display in simple way the meteo images transmitted by the satellites. It works as an iternet browser (internet explorer, Netscape, FireFox) but it is completely automatized and robotized. It requires only a PC and a connection to internet, to build a meteo point that can display more of the necessary pictures to have information about meteo forecast.


What RealMeteo does
RealMeteo, together to an internet connected PC, constitutes a public meteo info point, useful to visualize the pictures of the satellites in automatic mode, without some need of interventions from an operator. You have only to configure it one time, and it will work as a robot forever; you have only power on and power off the PC. Also in case of main supply main black-out, when it returns, RealMeteo restarts itself automatically and continue to work. And is also possible use it with keyboard and mouse disconnected from PC to avoid unauthorized configuration change.

RealMeteo installed on a PC connected to internet, make a public meteo point, useful for Holets, Commercial centers, Mountains Refuges, Highways, Sky plants, Community etc.

How to setup RealMeteo
Is possible install the software in a easy and fast mode. All will be ready in seconds. It works with Windows VISTA, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows NT, Windows 98SE .


Special cases - Windows XP
Some PC that work with Windows have already installed some library, files and programs, and when try to install RealMeteo, can display some warning messages as "WARNING, DLL LIBRARY ALREADY INSTALLED ON PC, IGNORE, QUIT?". In this case you have to click on IGNORE and continue the installation, without break it; you have to ignore all warning messages, that aren't real errors. The found libraries will be updated, and all will work very well. At the end of installation you have to restart the compuret and all is ready to start.
Some Windows XP and VISTA installation are strongly protected and try to block the installation. In this case, disable all firewall and antivirus, and retry using the XP version of install file, that don't overwrite the present libraries and dll, but use them .

More install details
Start installation with a "double click" on setup file

Now you can choice the install language. Click on OK

In this info window, press on Next

You can change the directory where software will be installed. Press on Next

Also the start menu name is modificable menu ->start -> all programs -> etc etc. Press on Next

If all is ok, click on Install

The installation finish in seconds (depends from your cpu speed)

We have finished, click on END

A Readme file is displayed, read it!
